A Winnipeg man is facing trafficking charges after a B.C. police task force seized a kilogram of cocaine during a series of search warrants last year in Prince George.
Following a two-month-long investigation by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C.’s (CFSEU-BC) north district team last year, police executed a series of search warrants on residences in Prince George between March 30 and April 1, 2022. Police seized 1 kg of cocaine, $10,000 in cash, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, multiple cellular devices and drug trafficking items and paraphernalia.
On March 21, 2023, Winnipeg resident Quinn Alexander Davidson, 31, was charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in connection with the case. Davidson was arrested on a warrant and released on an undertaking to appear in court in Prince George.
Members of the CFSEU-BC task force worked in partnership with the Prince George RCMP during the investigation.
“The collaborative work by CFSEU-BC and our partner agencies resulted in the successful investigation into a drug supplier in the north district,” Insp. Joel Hussey of CFSEU-BC. “Working collaboratively is essential to disrupting organized crime and the activity of individuals involved that pose a significant risk to public safety.”
