Local police are looking for 28-year-old Lane Irvine Jack Elkins.
Elkins is wanted by the Prince George RCMP on five unendorsed warrants, which include the following charges:
- Two counts of failing to comply with a probation order
- Two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000
- Theft under $5,000
- Assault with a weapon
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Resisting a police officer
Elkins is described as an Indigenous male, standing 5'11" (180 centimetres) tall, weighing 181 pounds (82 kilograms), with black hair and brown eyes. He is also known to use the name "Klatassine Elkins."
Authorities are warning that Elkins is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information is asked to call local police immediately at 250-561-3300. To make an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
An unendorsed warrant requires that the subject be held in custody once located.
