With its store set to open in early April, Birch & Boar Charcuterie and Provisions is nearing the end of its Indiegogo campaign.

Ahead of the store opening, Birch & Boar launched its “Grocery Awareness” campaign on the platform, which is a crowdfunding site geared towards start-ups, entrepreneurs, or charities.

Some of the perks featured in the campaign include a Bacon of the Month club, where every month for a full year you can get three packs of bacon, with varying flavours.

If you’re not a bacon fan, Birch & Boar also has a Jerky of the Month Club which operates on the same principle. Every month you get three specialty jerky packs with the flavours changing throughout the year.

The biggest (and priciest perk) the campaign is offering is to have your name on a sausage.

“Want to be remembered forever? Have you always wished your name was bratwurst so you can tell people it was named after you?” asks the butchery.

Those who donate a mere $500 will be immortalized in sausage form, as even Birch & Boar promises that even the ingredients will be inspired by the donators.

The campaign is set to wrap-up on April 13.

You can also find Birch & Boar at the Prince George Farmer’s Market on Saturdays where they have a booth set up.
