Jiggy with the Piggy, Swiss Dill-licious, the Gravy Boat and the Glory Bowl are on the menu at the Wall of Fame.
Jordan Reinitz is owner operator of Wall of Fame Sandwich Shop that’s Built to Crave.
He’s been in the food industry for 21 years and with experience ranging from fine dining in Australia to pub cooking in Prince George, this sandwich shop owner has got us covered.
Located at 1485 Tenth Avenue and opened on Sept. 13, the space is compact with little space for storage, which is a good thing considering everything that comes out of the tiny kitchen is fresh made goodness.
“From the front of the shop it looks like a very small operation and that continues into the kitchen and storage area,” Reinitz said. “There’s no back access so everything’s coming and going from the front and we get about eight deliveries a week.”
Jiggy with the Piggy is a pulled pork sandwich with bacon, cheddar, onion rings and dill pickle slaw. Swiss Dill-licious is a grilled Swiss and ham with deep fried pickles in it and a garlic aoli to top it off, the Gravy Boat is classic poutine that might just be drowning in gravy, and well, you’ll just have to come in to see what’s all in the Glory Bowl that comes as a wrap or salad.
“So whether there’s a little twist in the name or a little twist in the sandwich itself, that’s what we’re going for but first and foremost we want to be good,” Reinitz said. “I’ve worked in this industry my entire life and I’m extremely passionate about it. I don’t have a business without my staff. Everyone has a voice, everyone has a say and they're the most important thing for me.”
