Prince George residents are being warned of a temporary closure on the North Nechako Road.
The city says both lanes of the stretch near Michael Road will be closed as of 7 p.m. tomorrow evening (Sept. 2) to let crews install a sanitary service connection.
Despite the work, local traffic and emergency vehicles will still have access to the area.
The road is expected to reopen by Friday (Sept. 4) when work is scheduled to be completed.
The city adds the work is being done now compared to the Labour Day long weekend to help avoid more disruption.
Motorists are reminded to exercise caution around the working zone and follow all signage as well as construction crews and traffic controllers.
