Let’s face it, some days are longer than others and you may be cutting close in catching that 4:30 bus from the Hart Centre to the Spruceland Exchange.

The good news for frequent Prince George transit riders, the critical information you need, like everything, is now accessible in the palm of your hand.

BC Transit has partnered with the ‘Transit’ app in 18 locations across the province, including the northern capital, using real-time technology for users.

Trip information is provided when the app is open to see departure times and real-time ETAs for easy navigation, the provincial service says in a statement.

“Under this agreement, BC Transit will also receive anonymized usage data to improve our planning processes and customizations to better serve the public, such as the ability to send important information directly to riders via Transit’s home screen.”

‘Transit’ is available for download for free on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
