On Our Radar: Northern BC Crime Stoppers Spring Shred-It event is coming up

The annual Shred-it event will take place next weekend
PG Crime Stoppers Shred It event
Shred-It takes place every Fall and Spring where local residents can shred personal documents by donation (via Prince George Crime Stoppers)

Gather up your no-longer-needed personal documents because the annual Spring Shred-it event is just around the corner!

Northern BC Crime Stoppers will once again be hosting a Drive-Thru Spring Shred-It event on Saturday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Prince George Secondary School (PGSS) parking lot.

This is your opportunity to shred all of your personal or important documents in one go, helping to ensure you will not be a victim of identity theft.

Organizers say the event will be following provincial health guidelines and ask participants to physically distance, stay in your vehicle and wear a mask.

The event is brought together in partnership with Shred-it Mobile Shredding Services, Mr. Mike’s, PGSS, and Northern BC Crime Stoppers. This service is provided for the cost of a donation (minimum $5 per bag or box) and is not meant for business owners.

For another $5 donation, you can also enjoy a tasty Mr. Mike’s burger! Mr. Mike’s community BBQ will be available 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

We want to remind you of our new location at the Prince George Secondary School parking lot. PGSS is located at 2901 Griffiths Ave just of Highway 97.
