UNBC is taking the airwaves to help local students make the most of being in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
CFUR has created Radio Bingo, a set of friendly social-distancing games where Prince George students can listen to the campus radio station and potentially win several prizes.
The goal of the games, set for next Friday, May 8 from 5 to 7 p.m., is to help raise funds for the non-profit corporation during the outbreak.
A bingo sheet is $2 each, comes with three games and students can mark of any the squares during the three rounds played over the air.
The UNBC First Nations Centre is also sponsoring the two-hour event next week and students who frequent the centre wishing to participate can email them directly for a free bingo sheet.
Students can email our Aboriginal Connections Coordinator, Spencer Hammond @ [email protected] by May 5th to claim a FREE bingo sheet and arrange for a physically distant drop-off or pickup.

Regardless of where you order, you must provide an address for mail delivery before 4 p.m. on Sunday (May 3), or arrange a physically distant drop-off or pick-up.
As this is a BCLC-sanctioned game, you must be 19 years or older to play.
You’re encouraged to tune in to 88.7 on the FM dial, or livestream via CFUR’s website on May 8 starting at 5 p.m.
If you’re a winner, be sure to call CFUR immediately to yell ‘BINGO.’ and claim your winnings.
Prizes include CDs, 'swag' and a grand prize of $100.
You can visit CFUR's campus radio website for more details.
