Nothing says summertime in Prince George like heading out to catch a double feature at the Park Drive-in Theatre.

And the countdown is officially on as one of B.C.'s last drive-in theatre's gears up to open for the season.

Make sure you have a full tank of gas and some change for treats on April 26 because you'll be able to catch Dumbo and Captain Marvel which will be shown on opening night.

Only at the drive-in do you have the luxury of sitting back in the comfort of your own vehicle while you watch the latest movies on a 3200 sq.ft screen. All you have to do is head out before dusk so you get a good spot, use your parking brake, turn off your headlights and dial into 107.7 FM on your radio dial.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the first movie starts at 8:00 p.m.  The concession will be up and running so you can fill your car (and mouths) with burgers, nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, candy, pop and more.

Movies run on weekend nights and tickets for anyone 13-years-old and up are $13, seniors are $10, children are $8 but kids under 5-years-old are free. To keep up to date on what's going to be playing at the drive-in check out Park Drive-in's website or Facebook page

The Park Drive-in's Go-kart racing and mini-golf are still closed though and will open a little later in the season.
