PHOTOS: Pride parades through the streets of Prince George

COVID-19 forced organizers to change format

It wasn't quite the same as last year, but the LGBTQ community proudly paraded through the streets of Prince George this afternoon (July 4).

The PG Queer Cafe organized a car parade with four groups throughout the city and neighbourhoods. The COVID-19 conscious event was different than the usual massive pride party downtown.

There was also a 'PGQC Pride Jam for Youth' going on during the parade where local artists performed an online concert.

Happy Pride, Prince George!
