A sea of motorcycles and leather took over the CN Centre parking lot this morning (Sept. 29) for the 38th annual Prince George Toy Run.
The toys and donations collected from the Sept. 29 event support the Salvation Army Christmas Hampers, providing gifts for children and teens from families who can’t afford Christmas presents.
Every year the Salvation Army gathers hundreds of toys from the event, which is critical for filling the hampers and providing presents for families who might otherwise go without.
The Salvation Army’s Operation Hunger Relief team was on-site serving the crowd coffee, tea, hot, chocolate, sandwiches and desserts.
