Police examine thefts

Prince George RCMP are investigating a string of thefts committed in the city over a 12 day period. A 36-year-old man, Clayton Mosionier, is currently in custody.

Prince George RCMP are investigating a string of thefts committed in the city over a 12 day period.

A 36-year-old man, Clayton Mosionier, is currently in custody.

Moisionier is described as a Caucasian male, five-foot-10, weighing 175 pounds with a shaved buzz cut and wearing blue a jeans, black jacket or hoodie, and a black toque.

Police are concentrating on eight thefts that were committed since Dec. 11.

Among them is the theft of two 42-inch televisions taken from the Sandman Signature Hotel on 2990 Recplace Drive on Dec. 17. Two days earlier, a master key card was stolen from the hotel.

RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said police continue to also examine the thefts of several large TVs and cash boxes from chain retail stores and other businesses.
