A marijuana grow operation, small but nonetheless legally significant, was discovered this weekend by Prince George RCMP.

"While executing the warrant, members discovered a marijuana grow-operation with approximately 613 plants," said Wessel. "No one was inside the residence at the time."

The investigation is continuing. Theft of electricity is a common side-crime to the production of marijuana.
