The Prince George Cougars do not have nice memories from playing Vancouver this year and hope they can forge some new ones when they visit the Lower Mainland this weekend.
The Cougars are at the Langley Events Centre for a back-to-back (Nov. 10-11), looking to build on their current two-game winning streak after wins against Seattle on Nov. 2 (4-1) and Nov. 3 (2-0) in Prince George.
Vancouver also comes in with a two-game winning streak after wins against Brandon on Oct. 28 (3-2) and Kamloops on Nov. 3 (2-1).
The Giants took a pair of games earlier in the season in Prince George, and the Cougars need to do the same to make up ground in the standings.
Vancouver leads the B.C. Division with a 12-3-2-0 record and 26 points, which puts them first in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Prince George sits third with a 7-7-1-2 record and 17 points, good for sixth overall in the Western Conference.
Away from home, the Cougars are 3-2-1-1 while Vancouver is 7-2-1-0 at the Langley Events Centre.
