You have less than a week to take advantage of free all-day parking in certain areas of Prince George.

The city says its on-street parking bylaws will be enforced once again on Monday, June 15 after suspending activities more than 10 weeks ago.

This means residents will only be able to park downtown or near the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) free of charge for only three hours, sans designated parking zones.

The parking restrictions were lifted on April 2 in accordance with the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic on a temporary basis.

Resuming these restrictions is also part of Phase Two of the B.C. government’s restart plan, the city says in a statement.

For more information on all parking activities, you can check out the City of Prince George website.
