Mounties in Prince George are asking for the public's help as they continue an investigation into the fatal fire at Econo Lodge in downtown Prince George yesterday (July 8).
Cpl. Craig Douglass says police will be on scene for days collecting evidence.
RCMP are wanting to speak with anyone that captured video or still images within a two-block radius of the motel between 7 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
If you can assist, you are asked to call the Prince George detachment at 250-561-3300.
Anyone that also has dashcam video while driving, cell phone images or surveillance images are asked to contact police.
The BC Coroners Service is conducting a parallel investigation to determine who died, and how, where, when and by what means they came to their unexpected deaths.
Due to the privacy of the deceased, identity will not be provided.
The Coroners Service confirmed they were notified of the incident early yesterday afternoon after firefighters found three deceased bodies when entering the structure after the fire.
