The Prince George RCMP say their investigative services team is looking for information on two drive-by shootings which happened on Jan. 28.

The first shooting took place on the 7700-block of Kingsley Crescent, just after midnight. Police received a report from neighbours in the crescent who say they heard gunshots and a car leaving the area at high speed. Police attended a residence at the scene but found it was empty.

The second shooting happened at approximately 3 a.m., on the 7100-block of Eugene Road. Two people were in the residence at the time of the incident, but were unharmed, noted a press release.

Police are seeking anyone who may video surveillance or dash camera footage or have witnessed anything suspicious to please contact investigators by calling the non-emergency line.

"Police are looking for any information that will push these investigations forward. This level of wanton violence is concerning to police as it can put the safety of innocent people at risk," wrote Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
