An impaired driving investigation is underway following a multi-vehicle incident from this weekend.
Just before Noon on Saturday (Nov. 16) emergency services, including the Prince George RCMP, received a report of a collision at the intersection of Foothills Boulevard and Chief Lake Road.
Officers attended and found a pick-up had collided with an SUV.
An adult male driver and a child were removed from the SUV and transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the pick-up, a 38-year-old man from Prince George, was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the detachment for further investigation.
He was later released on a promise to appear in court on a future date.
Vehicle traffic in the area was affected for about three hours while officers gathered evidence from the scene.
