Prince George RCMP is currently investigating an attempted sexual assault, which took place near the 200 block of Ruggles Street.
On the evening of Monday, Dec. 3, a female under the age of 18 was walking alone in the area when a man approached her and pushed her down from behind.
The victim was able to get free and run away, according to a press release.
The suspect is described as:
- Dark skinned male, possibly African descent
- 20 to 30 years old
- 183 cm (6'0")
- Medium build
- Very little or no hair (was wearing a toque)
- Wearing a grey sweater and jeans
Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
