Police are investigating the cause of a suspicious fire in the Hart region from early this morning (May 8).
According to Prince George Fire Rescue, a pile of used tires and a 45-foot trailer up in flames were extinguished around 1:15 a.m., which has brought in the RCMP to take over the case.
Firefighters responded to the incident on 1700-block, Hart Hwy.
No injuries were reported as only half-a-dozen crew members from two different halls were able to put out the blaze quickly.
Fire Rescue adds an adjacent business was also saved after preventing the blaze from getting to the building.
The damage to the trailer is an estimated $5,000.
