Prince George Symphony Orchestra presents Splendorous Spring - IN PHOTOS

The PGSO ended their 50th anniversary season with a presentation titled Splendorous Spring that was recorded on Saturday evening for an online stream starting Sunday

The Prince George Symphony Orchestra recorded their final presentation of their 50th anniversary season on Saturday evening at Studio D. The performance was titled Splendorous Spring! and featured three pieces of music.

Maestro Michael Hall was once again on stage to lead the symphony as the performed Debussy's "Prelude de L'apres midi d'un Faune". Next he led the symphony as they played Mozart's "Violin Concerto no. 3, 1st movement," featuring the winner of the PGSO's 2020 Young Artists Competition, twelve year-old soloist Luke Chen. The final piece of the night was Aaron Copland's Pulitzer prize winning "Appalachian Spring".
