Prince George RCMP say early this morning (Jan. 16), they entered into an investigation concerning public safety that led officers to a home in Willow River.
The community of Willow River is just east of Prince George.
The detachment’s police Dog Service Unit and the North District RCMP’s Emergency Response Team have been called to assist.
Police have surrounded a residence and are attempting to have occupants of the house exit without incident.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
