Officials at the Railway and Forestry Museum in Prince George invite residents to join in the celebratation of the Accessibility Project on Monday at 10 a.m.

It's all about improved accessibility enabling the young and the young at heart to explore together, share memories and create new ones.

"Museums are the cornerstone of any community," said Ranjit Gill, executive director.

"They help communities connect with the past so they can understand the present and forge ahead to a strong future. As a museum, accessibility is paramount to building onto the strength of an inclusive community."

The project is partnership of Government of Canada Enabling Accessibility Fund, Rotary Club of Prince George Nechako, Prince George Community Foundation, Carrier Lumber, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #43 and Husky Energy. For more information call Gill at 250-563-7351.
