The Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum will be holding a free, family-friendly Halloween event on Saturday and Sunday.
The museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is free, but the museum will be collecting non-perishable food donations to support a local food pantry.
Participants can follow some monster footprints on a Halloween story walk, organized by the Prince George Public Library and YMCA of Northern BC and the Final Stop tour includes spooky additions to the museum’s regular exhibits.
The Prince George Nechako Rotary Club will be giving away free pumpkins at the museum pumpkin patch (supplies are limited).
In addition, the Cottonwood Minirail train will be running both days. Tickets are $3 per ride.
“Bone dogs,” burgers, hot chocolate, witches’ brew and other treats will be available for purchase.
Attendees are encourage to wear their Halloween costumes.
