A collision of a police car and a pedestrian resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman in Surrey.
RCMP say as an on-duty RCMP travelling near the intersection of 98 Street and King George Boulevard struck the young woman crossing the street in a location with no crosswalk.
The woman succombed to injuries sustained in the accident and was pronounced deceased at a hospital. The RCMP member was not injured in the incident.
A comprehensive investigation is ongoing.
