A snowfall warning issued for Prince George on Friday (Dec. 28) has ended.

Environment Canada is calling for a mostly cloudy day today. We could also see some flurries or rain showers near noon. The forecast also lists "risk of freezing rain" this morning.

Better hold on to your toques because it's going to be windy. The wind is expected to gust between 50 and 70 km/h. The high is 2 C.

PG is supposed to get 2 cm of snow this evening. The low is -5 C and the overnight wind chill is -12 C (and that wind will stick around).

If you're planning to travel Highway 97, a snowfall warning remains in effect for Pine Pass. Environment Canada says up to 25 cm of snow is expected today before things taper off midday.

There's another snowfall warning in place for the Yellowhead Highway from Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta border. That stretch of road will get up to 25 cm of snow today. Visibility will be poor because of high winds and blowing snow.
