Santa Claus will make an early stop in Prince George on Dec. 1 when he's here for the Festival of Trees' new Santa Claus Parade, presented by Kopar Administration.

Santa Claus will be paying a special visit to this year's Festival of Trees on Dec. 1.

The organizers of the annual Christmas celebration have announced that longtime sponsor Kopar Administration will present the festival's first Santa Claus Parade.

"We are incredibly grateful to Kopar Administration for their generous support," said CEO Aimee Cassie from Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, the festival's hosts. "Their commitment to our community is truly inspiring, and we are excited to bring the joy of the Santa Claus Parade to life with their help."

The Santa Claus Parade will feature floats, walking groups and music, all leading up to an appearance by Santa himself.

There's plenty of room for participants. To be a part of the parade, contact Bailey Grose at [email protected].

This year's Festival of Trees runs from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 at the Prince George Civic Centre. It features themed decorated trees, a silent auction, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
