Rescuers spent the night on local waterways looking for a pair of overdue paddlers. The two Vanderhoof men, aged 34 and 40, were on course to canoe through some of the area's river rapids, but did not arrive at their destination by the targeted time.
At about 11 p.m. Sunday, Prince George Search and Rescue (SAR) and the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) dispatched personnel to investigate.
