The deadline has been extended to Nov. 26 to submit the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes filled with delightful surprises for children in other lands.
Boxes can be submitted to Hartland Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Monday to Friday;
First Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, or the Mighty Dollar Store in College Heights during business hours until Thursday night.
The number of shoe boxes collected to Nov. 20 is 2,700 in Prince George, 524 from Vanderhoof and 630 from Burns Lake. The numbers are expected to increase with the extended deadline.
