Don’t put those snow shovels away just yet!
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George and Highway 97 Pine Pass.
The alerts came into effect at 3:43 p.m. this afternoon (March 10). About 10 to 20 cm is expected to fall.
A frontal system crossing B.C. will bring heavy snow to eastern section of Bulkley Valley and the Lakes region including Fort St. James, Prince George, Yellowhead, the McGregor and Williston regions, including Highway 97 - Pine Pass.
Snow will begin this evening and continue through Monday. Snow is expected to ease Monday evening.
Environment Canada is reminding drivers that surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Weather in the mountains can also change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
So be prepared to adjust your driving conditions!
