Sophisticated grow up busted, six in custody

Police entered three rural residences Monday in the Beaverley area with search warrants in order to seize more than 3,000 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. The grow operations were sophisticated in structure.

Police entered three rural residences Monday in the Beaverley area with search warrants in order to seize more than 3,000 marijuana plants in various stages of growth.

The grow operations were sophisticated in structure.

The operations were dismantled with the help of B.C. Hydro, as electrical power was stolen.

Six non Prince George residents were arrested, including four males and two females.

Each suspect was released Monday night with a returnable court date.

Police said the successful dismantling of the three grow operations were as a direct result of information received from the public.
