Accumulated donations from Spectra Energy to University of Northern British Columbia causes inched closer to the $1 million mark on Friday with a contribution of $90,200 to the school's Northern Medical Program Trust, given during a celebration on Friday.
The money will help offset the costs faced medical students in the program, designed to encourage fledgling physicians to set up practices in rural and northern B.C.
