While it won't affect passengers driving in an out of the airport, two service roads near YXS are closing for the rest of the summer.
As of yesterday (June 11), the Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) says Altimeter Road and Beacon Road are being repaved until September.
Flights are not impacted by the closure, but the PGAA explains the two roads are frequently used by joggers and pet walkers, so all pedestrian and vehicle traffic are asked to stay away during construction.
Airline staff will still be able to access the airport terminal and parking area.
Once barricades are down later this year, everyone will be able to use Altimeter and Beacon once again.
