This week's Throwback Thursday is a reminder that despite the passage of decades, some fall traditions don't really change.
Case in point: The Citizen ran a photo of a little girl playing in autumn leaves. Yes, the photo is black and white. But you know how colourful that day was for her.
Also this week, we flash back to a 2009 football match and a visit by high school students to a safety forum that featured firefighters.
One more unusual story The Citizen covered was that of a visit by a delegation from Taiwan (spelled "Tai Wan" in the original coverage) who wanted to tour BC forestry and furniture manufacturing facilities.
These are just a sampling of the local history you can find online at pgnewspapers.pgpl.ca, where all our back issues up to 2016 are scanned and archived, along with other local publications that are no longer in business but still document a lot of what went on in Prince George in the past.
