Environment Canada has rescinded a thunderstorm warning issued earlier today.

"Severe thunderstorms have weakened or moved out of the region," the agency said in a bulletin issued shortly after 4 p.m.

A thunderstorm watch was issued this morning and upgraded to a warning shortly before 3 p.m. when Environment Canada said a thunderstorm was just west of Prince George and moving northwards towards Telachick, Mud River and Beaverly.
