The Law Enforcement Torch Run drew more than 100 runners and walkers and raised $5,700 for Special Olympics B.C.
The event was held Tuesday at the Prince George RCMP detachment.
$1,800 of the total was raised through a 50-50 raffle. Funds were also raised through a car wash in May.
"The Prince George Detachment is once again honoured to host the Law Enforcement Torch Run in our community" Prince George RCMP Supt. Warren Brown said. "The public support has been overwhelming and the appreciation of the athletes makes all the efforts worthwhile."
