Police seized stolen guns and property as well as drugs and cash and arrested two men, Trevor Christopher Loe,19, and Dominik Teale, 29 years old, both from Fort St. John.

The tip came last Thursday night that a man with an outstanding arrest warrant was at a local motel on Highway 16.

General duty officers and a police dog service team went to the location to find Loe and arrested him on the warrant of apprehension. His parole had been revoked.

Teale, within reach of a loaded handgun, was arrested at the same time.

The investigation led to a search warrant and recovery of three handguns reported stolen from Abbotsford last October. Also discovered was a significant amount of crack cocaine and ecstasy pills, and a large sum of money.

Police searched the Honda SUV the two men were driving and found many items believed to be stolen from Fort St. John. The vehicle was registered to a woman from Abbotsford, but was not stolen.

Loe and Teale are facing the following charges:

Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition (3 counts)

Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Loe is in custody at least until his court appearance today. Teale is in custody until his court date on Feb. 4.

Both men are known to police and are believed to be associated to organized crime groups.

This investigation continues.
