Good news Prince George drivers: two intersections have reopened downtown.

The intersection at Seventh Avenue and Dominion Street, and at Sixth Avenue and George Street have both been fully reopened.

In a press release, the city says both locations were closed so crews could connect or replace water, storm, sanitary sewer and other infrastructure.

Both intersections have now been repaved and pedestrian access, including for those with mobility devices, has been restored.

Seventh Avenue is opened right up until the city hall entrance. The street will be closed until further notice to allow for further utility upgrades and installations.
