Two weeks of deep freeze ahead for Prince George

Temperatures will continue to be far below the freezing mark over the next two weeks in Prince George.

Prince George woke up to another frigid day Monday, Feb. 3, with more of the same expected over the next two weeks.

The weather forecast called for a high of -18 C Monday, with a few flurries before dropping to -24 C overnight.

Looking ahead, the long-range forecast indicates temperatures won’t move back within the single digits of the freezing market until mid-month.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

The day will be bright and sunny, with a high of -16 C, though it will feel closer to -23 C with the wind chill. Winds will be light from the north at 16 km/h.
