Unemployment rate tumbles

In all, 45,600 people were employed in March which was also compared favourably to the total of 42,200 at the same point last year, when the unemployment rate stood at 9.4 per cent. It was the third straight month of decline after the unemployment rate peaked at 13.6 per cent in December.
