A Vanderhoof man is dead following a highway collision with a moose. It was the second major motor vehicle incident in the past few days involving wildlife.
The moose altercation happened Saturday at about 11:15 p.m. on Highway 16 near Telechick Road (a few minutes west of Beaverly). It was a single-vehicle crash involving one occupant, a 38-year-old Vanderhoof man.
