Vanderhoof RCMP looking for missing Saik’Uz First Nation man

Police are asking for video footage that may help in the search

Ronald McCook has been reported missing from the Vanderhoof area.

The Vanderhoof RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating Ronald McCook, who was reported missing Thursday, Jan. 30.

McCook was last seen leaving a home in the 100 block of Kenny Dam Road on the Saik’Uz First Nation outside of Vanderhoof on Thursday, Jan, 23, walking south towards the Sauk’uz General Store.

He's an Indigenous man, 40, standing 5'11" and weighing 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing an orange T-shirt, a grey baseball cap and jeans.

Police are asking anyone in the area with security video or dash camera footage recorded between Jan. 21 and Jan. 25 to contact Vanderhoof RCMP at 250- 567-2222.
