Police have yet to release the identity of the 26-year-old man who died in a fatal car crash July 1.
The single vehicle crash was reported around 8:30 p.m. near 13340 Miworth Road, where a Dodge passenger van skidded off the road and struck a power pole.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Speed and alcohol are suspected to be contributing factors to the accident.
A second motor vehicle accident occurred Sunday morning, around 1 a.m.
All three occupants of the pickup truck were injured and transported to University Hospital of Northern British Columbia.
The truck was traveling westbound in the 6400 block of Bendixon Road when the driver lost control, and the vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole.
Alcohol and speed are believed to be contributing factors in this accident as well.
Police are continuing with the investigation of both accidents.
