A pair of civilians could be testifying soon the case of a Prince George woman charged with aggravated assault for allegedly biting off part of her friend's lower lip.

Today (Feb. 27), a judge adjourned the case of Hailee Marie Kowalchuk until next Wednesday, March 6, as her lawyer is wanting to look at all evidence and facts before moving forward.

Defence counsel asked for an arraignment to possibly speak with the alleged victim and a witness, who have already given consent to give their testimonies on the events of Jan. 25, 2019.

Kowalchuk is charged with three counts of criminal offences, including aggravated assault, assault, and breach of probation and still remains in custody.

The 26-year-old appeared by video camera today, wearing a burgundy sweater.
