The District of Vanderhoof has contracted the YMCA of Northern B.C. to manage and operate the new Vanderhoof Aquatic Centre.
"We are excited to be moving the Vanderhoof Aquatic Centre into its next phase," Vanderhoof mayor Gerry Thiessen said in a press release issued Tuesday. "Now that we are nearing completion, the District is pleased to be working with the YMCA of Northern BC, with their extensive experience in managing recreational facilities."
The Aquatic Centre is slated to open in October.
