Bob Zimmer,41, announced that he will seek the federal conservative nomination for the Prince George-Peace River electoral district.
"I hope to continue where Jay left off and keep the reform ideal alive in Ottawa. Although we are now conservatives I still feel I'm a reformer at heart."
Zimmer, who currently lives in Fort St. John, joined the Reform Party in 1987 and signed up under Jay Hill.
