Teams from across the province were in Prince George on the weekend for the first ever Lheidli Classic All Native Basketball Tournament.
Games were played at John McInnis Centre and Cedars Christian School and great basketball action was available for all to enjoy.
Teams taking part included Prince George Ravens, Gitxsan Torchmen, Nuxalk Braves, Prince George Totems, Sai’kuz-Galbanaye Uncrowned Kings, Treaty 8 BC, Fort Liard Warriors, Northwest, Burnaby Chiefs, Nak'azdli Wolves and Similkameen.
Sunday's final at Cedars Christian School featured the Burnaby Chiefs versus Similkameen with both teams showing the skill that got them to the final.
Burnaby defeated Similkameen, with tournament MVP Jesse Barnes dominating the boards throughout.
