Chamber event celebrates top under-40 community business leaders

These honourees represent a diverse array of industries, showcasing the breadth of talent that Prince George has to offer.

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce named its Top Figures Under 40 at an event Thursday night.

The recipients were:

Alyssa Leier - Curator, The Exploration Place

Chris Calder - General Manager of Financial Services, Regional District of Fraser-Fort George and Fraser-Fort George Regional Hospital District

Cori Ramsay - Councillor, City of Prince George and Marketing Lead Analyst, Integris Credit Union

Dayna Penson - Program Director, Ness Lake Bible Camp

Kara Biles - Director, Corporate HR & Employee Experience, Canfor

Kyndra Farrell - Owner, Worth a Shot Mobile Bar

Michael Martens - Trinity Financial Services - Financial Advisor

Mindy Stroet - Director of Development, Prince George Community Foundation

Shauna Allan - Founder, Modern Match Lingerie

Sydney Redpath - Director of Communications at DIGITAL

Tim Bennett - Councillor, City of Prince George and Executive Director, Commercial Ventures, Scouts Canada

Tyler Garden - Project Manager, McElhanney Ltd

The chamber campaign identified and celebrated twelve remarkable individuals who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to their fields and community engagement. These honourees represent a diverse array of industries, showcasing the breadth of talent that Prince George has to offer.

The top 12 were chosen from over 70 nominations, each showcasing remarkable achievements and contributions, the chamber said in a news release.

The honourees will be celebrated in a special section, published in partnership with the Prince George Citizen, in the Aug. 24 edition. The section will feature comprehensive information about all of the honourees, providing insights into their remarkable achievements and contributions, as well as highlighting the campaign's overall impact on our community.
