Please sir. We'd like some more - some more Scrooge and Marley and Martha and Tiny Tim.
Theatre North West has earned such strong box office results for their production of A Christmas Carol that the city has been rewarded with more shows.
Two evening performances have been added to the run. Tickets are now available for Dec. 10 and 11. Both these additional shows happen at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now at Books & Company and online at theatrenorthwest.com.
Fans of theatre are reminded that each performance of A Christmas Carol is also an opportunity to collect for the Gift Of Hope project. Donations of small gift items will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association's Christmas care packages to those with persistent mental health challenges, who often get few or no gifts during the holidays, or have no gifts to give to their own children and other loved ones.
Such donations are suggested to be generic in nature so that might go to a male or female, young or old: toiletries, socks, mittens, scarves, toques, chocolate, small games, playing cards, hand tools, and very helpful are gift cards from multipurpose retailers like hardware stores, drug stores, grocery stores, etc.
It is another way TNW can emphasize the message of A Christmas Carol, to support our community and share our abundance with those less fortunate.
