On Our Radar: Prince George railway museum hosting haunted Halloween train tours

Prepare your loved ones, young and old, for a (free) bone-chilling experience

Do you dare to walk the tracks to no return through the dark depths of Prince George’s haunted past?

The Central B.C. Railway and Forestry Museum is welcoming patrons to its Haunted Train Tours, with this year’s theme being ‘The Final Stop.’

For the next two Saturdays (Oct. 19 and 26), the facility is changing its grounds and exhibits into a Halloween-themed playground for all ages and that includes the train rides.

Admission is also free, so long as you bring a non-perishable food donation for St. Vincent de Paul’s Food Bank.

Those brave enough to be frightened can join the Haunted Train tour between 5 and 9 p.m. both nights and runs every half-hour, though the museum recommends this experience for children over 10 years old.

There’s also Halloween fun for all ages earlier those days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beware though...

As the sky grows dark and the moon glows bright,

strange creatures and critters appear in the night.

As the whistle blows and the passengers whine,

our tour to The Final Stop sends a chill up your spine!

(Muahahahahahahahahaha)
